Personal Licensed
Diagnostic Lab Services

We pride ourselves on the trained skills needed for the preparation of diversified testing. We possess some of the world's most complicated machines which automate the blood checking process. Meaning minimal touching of blood vials by human hands. Safety procedures here are:

  • All reports for clients are made simple and easy to understand
  • All our phlebotomists, it's a medical fancy word for people trained to draw blood, undergo mandatory temperature checks before they enter and exit the workplace.
  • We customize panels to meet physician’s needs.

General Diagnostic Tests

ULTRA SOUND

Diagnostic ultrasound, also called sonography or diagnostic medical sonography, is an imaging method that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images of structures within your body. The images can provide valuable information for diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases and conditions.

  • Ultrasound is commonly usedTrusted Source for diagnosis, for treatment, and for guidance during procedures such as biopsies.
  • It can be used to examine internal organs such as the liver and kidneys, the pancreas, the thyroid gland, the testes and the ovaries, and others.
  • Most types of ultrasound are noninvasive, and they involve no ionizing radiation exposure. The procedure is believed to be very safe.
  • If the internal reproductive organs or urinary system need to be evaluated, the transducer may be placed in the rectum for a man or in the vagina for a woman.

SEROLOGY

Serologic tests are blood tests that look for antibodies in your blood. They can involve a number of laboratory techniques. Different types of serologic tests are used to diagnose various disease conditions. Serologic tests have one thing in common. They all focus on proteins made by your immune system. This vital body system helps keep you healthy by destroying foreign invaders that can make you ill. The process for having the test is the same regardless of which technique the laboratory uses during serologic testing.Antibodies are diverse. So, there are various tests for detecting the presence of different types of antibodies. These include:

HEMOTOLOGY

Hematology in simple words is the study of human blood and its major aim is to discover and rectify any and every problem that affects the patient’s white blood cells, red blood cells, platelets, blood vessels, bone marrow, lymph node, spleen or the proteins that are required for the clotting & bleeding processes. A specialist in this field is known as a hematologist; when a person is diagnosed with a blood disorder he will be referred to a hematologist who will study the symptoms of disease and provide with a treatment plan that is in sync with individualistic symptoms.

DIGITAL X-RAY

Digital radiography (DR) is an advanced form of x-ray inspection which produces a digital radiographic image instantly on a computer. This technique uses x-ray sensitive plates to capture data during object examination, which is immediately transferred to a computer without the use of an intermediate cassette. With the addition of computer technology, digital radiography has become a much more efficient, cost effective, and an even safer method of producing diagnostic images. ... While traditional X-rays are considered safe, digital X-rays produce 80% less radiation than traditional.

CYTOLOGY

The medical and scientific study of cells. Cytology is most often used as a screening tool to look for disease and to decide whether or not more tests need to be performed. An example of screening would be the investigation of a breast lump. In combination with examination by the clinician and imaging tests, a needle aspirate of the lump submitted for cytology will show whether the breast cells are suspicious for cancer or look bland/ benign. If they look suspicious, a core biopsy with a larger needle may be performed which takes more tissue, allowing for a definitive diagnosis to be made before deciding what type of surgery is required (local removal of the lump or removal of the whole breast).

MICRO BIOLOGY

Microbiology is the study of microscopic organisms, such as bacteria, viruses, archaea, fungi and protozoa. This discipline includes fundamental research on the biochemistry, physiology, cell biology, ecology, evolution and clinical aspects of microorganisms, including the host response to these agents.

  • Aspirate culture & sensitivity.
  • Aspirate for AFB.
  • Blood culture & sensitivity.
  • CSF- culture & sensitivity.

HISTOLOGY

Histology is the study of tissues and their structure. The structure of each tissue is directly related to its function, so histology is related to anatomy and physiology. ... Histology is also used extensively in biomedical research, to identify the causes and possible treatments for disease. Histopathology is the diagnosis and study of diseases of the tissues, and involves examining tissues and/or cells under a microscope. Histopathologists are responsible for making tissue diagnoses and helping clinicians manage a patient's care.Histopathology (or histology) involves the examination of sampled whole tissues under the microscope. ... Pieces of tissue rather than whole organs are removed as biopsies, which often require smaller surgical procedures that can be performed whilst the patient is still awake but sedated.

IMMUNOLOGY

Immunology includes all physical, chemical and biological reactions of the organism against the foreign substances. Immune system is divided into two types: innate immunity and adaptive immunity. Adaptive immunity further divided into two types that is humoral and cell mediated immunity. These clinical studies include IgG, IgA and IgM tests. If you are being checked for autoimmune diseases, your doctor may order specific antibody tests such as rheumatoid antibody or anti-thyroid antibodies. Infectious disease serology tests are also part of immunology.

BIO CHEMISTRY

Biochemistry is the branch of science that explores the chemical processes within and related to living organisms. It is a laboratory based science that brings together biology and chemistry. By using chemical knowledge and techniques, biochemists can understand and solve biological problems. Biochemistry explores chemical processes related to living organisms. It is a laboratory-based science combining biology and chemistry. Biochemists study the structure, composition, and chemical reactions of substances in living systems and, in turn, their functions and ways to control them.

CLINICAL PATHOLOGY

There are two main types of clinical studies: clinical trials (also called interventional studies) and observational studies.A phase of research to describe clinical trials that focus on the safety of a drug. They are usually conducted with healthy volunteers, and the goal is to ...

VIRAL SCREENING

A viral marker test is vital to identify viruses that cause a range of viral infections, such as viral fever, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, and other viral illnesses. A viral marker test is generally a blood test, wherein the samples are tested for viral contagions to confirm the presence of viral infections. Viral fever is one of the most common forms of viral infections. Unlike the common flu, viral fever is caused by pre-existing viral conditions. Dengue and chikungunya are two of the most common viral fevers.

Genetics Tests

Genes are DNA instructions that we all inherit from our parents. Different “mistakes” in our genes, called mutations, can cause different diseases. Some of these diseases are rare, like cystic fibrosis or Huntington’s disease, others are common, like cancer. Genetic tests can be used to confirm the diagnosis or give you information about possible development of a disease.

HORMONAL ASSAY

These hormone tests are usually recommended for women who have abnormalities in their menstrual cycles or who do not ovulate normally. The ovaries and adrenal glands usually produce small amounts of androgens (male hormones), including testosterone. If androgens are overproduced, normal ovulation can be affected.
